Adrian is a Chartered Civil Engineer with more than 35 year’s experience in the design and delivery of a broad range of public and private sector projects. He has held technical and operational roles within consultancy working both in the UK and overseas. Over the last 10 years he has led the multi-disciplinary design of major infrastructure projects including; Thameslink’s highly complex £900m London Bridge Station Redevelopment described as ‘performing open heart surgery on a patient that’s jogging’, RIBA 2 option selection stage for HS2’s £1.5bn Euston Station. Adrian’s current role is WSP’s Project Director for the single option development of HS2’s £1bn Old Oak Common Station where he leads the multi-disciplinary collocated design team of circa 260 individuals, including Wilkinson Eyre as the architect for the project.
