Dominic graduated from the University of Manchester in 1992 with a BEng Hons in Civil & Structural Engineering followed by a MSc in Project Management in 1996. In his 25 years of project management he has successfully led a broad range of high profile strategic change investment & infrastructure projects and programmes within the rail industry.
Spending a decade leading major projects on the West Coast Main line Programme, in 1998 he successfully fulfilled the role of expert witness for a Public Inquiry into the use of Railtracks Permitted Development Rights.
He’s been instrumental in encouraging collaboration and innovation within the rail industry. Between 2008 he led the development and implementation of the first Pure Alliance Agreement contract (Staffordshire Alliance) within rail industry, which generated major cost and timescale efficiencies.
In 2014 he became accountable for the HS2 On Network Works programme and appointed into the role of East West Rail Alliance Director in November 2016.
